Camper Relationships
• A Candidate shall have or attain a good knowledge of registration and record keeping procedures (enrolment forms, parent and medical questionaires, camper achievement and assessment forms, grouping procedures etc.)
• Candidate shall attain a knowledge of the methods and procedures for keeping records of camper's activities, personal relationships and health.
• Candidate shall attain knowledge of allocating campers in groups.

Staffing
A candidate shall have or attain adequate knowledge of the following procedures: Delegation of authority, staff recruitment, selection, referencing, and government legislation on all aspects of employment.

Basic Scientific Knowledge
Candidate should be aware of the literature and knowledge in camping and in related disciplines and current research in fields such as education, psychology and sociology in particular.

Business and Camp Operational Procedures
• Candidate shall have a general knowledge of good food service: nutrition, menu planning, sanitation, purchasing, inventory control etc.
• Candidate shall have general administrative knowledge: accounting, banking, insurance, taxation, laws governing health, the environment, zoning etc.
